The festival committee of Molières created its theatre festival ‘Molières en scène’ in 2009, with the aim of bringing theatre to everyone, supporting actors, creative work and the importance of culture everywhere, including in the countryside. It has its own reputation, its own audience, and is eagerly awaited every 2nd weekend in September.

Throughout the year, the Festival Committee's 8 enthusiastic volunteers look for and notice shows put on by professional or amateur companies, local or otherwise, who like to share and enjoy the pleasures of live entertainment just as much as the spectators do.

European Heritage Days. On the programme in the Bergerac region: guided tours (often free) of fortified towns, villages, Bergerac, museums, small heritage sites, exhibitions, demonstrations... A whole host of exceptional events not to be missed!

9 am: Welcome coffee at the town hall of Prigonrieux

9.30 am: Departure by minibus to the port of Bergerac

10 am: Boat trip in a gabarre, 8 km long loop

11 am: Exhibition ‘A L'EAU LA TERRE ICI LA CAB’ - Cloître des Récollets (Cloister of the Récollets)

11.45 am: Start of the walk back along the greenway

1.15 pm: Arrival at Place du Groupe Loiseau & aperitif provided by the town council

River-themed lunch under the hall: 13 €

Payment will be made on the day of the event in cash or by credit card for the meal.

A festive, lively festival dedicated to books of all kinds!

September 27, 28 and 29 mark the return of Péri'meuh, the urban agricultural show. This emblematic event invites the public to celebrate the world of agriculture in the heart of the capital of Périgord, reviving the tradition of agricultural fairs that began in Lanouaille in the Dordogne in 1824. It will showcase cattle and farm animals to the delight of the public.

The Medieval Games return to the Motte Castrale of Saint-Félix-de-Villadeix on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September 2024 from 10 am.

The Fest'eau festival takes place at Bergerac harbor on 28 September from 10 am to 6 pm.

There will be a village of exhibitors, a walking rally, entertainment on the theme of water, music and theatre along the water.

The Liorac / Louyre Loisirs club, with the support of the Lamonzie-Montastruc senior citizens' association, is organising a giant paëlla on Sunday 29 September 2024 at 12.30 pm in the  Liorac-sur-Louyre village hall.
