The traditional Bergerac Carnival returns to the Perdoux Garden on Saturday 9 March 2024 ! Under the theme "Plants", you can be part of the Bergerac Carnival from 11 am in the Perdoux Garden. Animations, food and good humour will also be part of the party.

Synopsis 

Alice and François are about to get married and decide to unite their two families. To mark the occasion, they have an original gift for their parents: DNA tests with which everyone can find out the origins of their ancestors. But the surprise turns into a fiasco when the Bouvier-Sauvage, a large aristocratic family, and the Martins, a much more modest family, discover the results, which are, to put it mildly,... unexpected, to say the least.

Debates, meetings, films, dance workshops, balls, concerts... a rich programme during the week of Occitan culture in Beaumont-du-Périgord from 11 to 18 March 2024. There's sure to be something to suit everyone, even those who don't speak Occitan.

On the programme:

• From 2.30 pm: workshops for children (face painting, Pétassou decorations, learning the Occitan language...). With the associations Chrysalide - Le Café des enfants, Novelum, Lo Bornat dau Perigòrd and Carnaval volunteers.
• Wooden games supervised by Boule et billes
• 3.30 pm: children's party
• 4.45 pm: Pétassou judged on the stage in Place Montaigne by children from the Calendreta school
• 5.15 pm: Pétassou departs for the Quais de l'Isle via rue Saint Front, avenue Daumesnil and boulevard Saumande. The parade will be accompanied by the companies Les Orphéons Êphémères and Waati Nooma.

Le Printemps du Cinéma (the "Spring Cinema") is back at your local GRAND ECRAN cinema, the nearest from Perrot en Périgord being in Bergerac.
