Warning: To renovate the roof gates of the Mauzac dam (Dordogne), EDF Hydro has launched the gradual lowering of the water level. The main phase will begin on Monday 26 August 2024 and is due to end on 31 October 2024.

Fishing, boating and swimming will be strictly prohibited from Monday 26 August to 31 October 2024 between the Yerle islet and the Mauzac dam. Access to the riverbed will also be prohibited due to the risk of getting stuck.

Another prefectoral decree also prohibits swimming and boating. This concerns the communes of Mauzac-et-Grand-Castang, Alles-sur-Dordogne, Calès and Trémolat.
